To the editor:

We have every confidence in Ms. Mahler. She has done a great job all these years.

I regret the treatment she has been getting from the mayor, who has seemingly been stepping over the line, after his own behavior was finally questioned.

It saddened us to find out that he may have joined the group of elected people who seem to think it is their right to use the system for their own benefit, not for the benefit of the people who elect them.

Come on Paul, own up to your follies before it is too late.
