The carefully detailed letter by Chuck Clark, “Guilt for WWII atom bomb deaths belongs solely to Japan,” is a harbinger of current events. I abhor war and mourn for the Japanese and all others who suffer and die unnecessarily. His letter to The Record is an excellent reminder of how our leaders can care so little for those they are to protect.
