Congratulations on well deserved honors of “general excellence” in state newspaper contest.

I appreciated the lead story on Rick Larsen’s legislative agenda in the Oct. 29 edition of The Record. The last paragraph was alarming and enlightening. I had no idea that the US “lacks apprenticeship programs in computer science and health care that other countries have.”

Incredible!

If anyone has a reasonable explanation for this I’m sure we would all like to know.
