To the editor:

I am writing with the hopes that someone in the community has found a wedding ring that I recently lost. The wedding ring and engagement ring are fused together and belong to my wife. I have been married for 53 years, and this ring has extreme sentimental value to me and my family.

It is believed that the ring was lost in or around Applebee’s restaurant on Dec. 23, but it truly could be anywhere in that area. I am offering a reward for the safe return of the ring. It would be much appreciated if you could please call me at 360-678-6646 if you happen to find a ring in Oak Harbor.

This letter is a last resort, as I have already placed ads in the classified section with no luck. Thank you so much.
