Thank you, wonderful people of Whidbey Island, for supporting the Friends of Home Health Care and Hospice of Whidbey General Hospital annual fundraising luncheon/style show/silent auction held at the Useless Bay Golf & Country Club on Sept. 18.

Thanks to the stores and restaurants from Oak Harbor to Clinton that donated generous gift certificates to our raffle and wonderful baskets and items to our silent auction.

Special thanks to Whidbey Island artists, whose inspiring creations inspired intense bidding at the auction.

Because of the success of this event, the Friends can continue to provide financial assistance to Home Health Care and Hospice patients who are unable to pay. The Friends also provide financial assistance for music therapy, spiritual care counseling and bereavement services for patients, families and survivors.

To everyone on Whidbey Island who attended the event, gave financial support or otherwise worked to make this event such a success, thank you for caring and for continuing to help the Friends of Home Health Care and Hospice to provide for those in need.
