To the editor:
I want to express my gratitude and appreciation for the beautiful swath of colorful sweet peas and sunflowers that seems to have been planted specifically for motorists’ pleasure, as we drive between Cameron and Bush Point roads on Highway 525.
This stretch of land was planted in a similar way last summer and I wondered if it would appear again, and it has, even larger and more lovely than last year.
Thank you to whomever had the creativity and community spirit to beautify the edge of that huge field in this particularly lovely way.
I hope the South Whidbey Record will track down the farmer who has created this attraction and let us know more about him or her.
