Archie the 10-year-old Holstein steer and Peter Rabbit, a 3-week-old Boer goat, check each other out at Ballydídean Farm Sanctuary in Clinton. Peter was unable to walk when he was born on South Whidbey. He was surrendered to the farm sanctuary, where he now lives. He began walking again after he was diagnosed with white muscle disease and treated.
The farm sanctuary will be hosting spring photo shoots with lambs Kenny, Kerry and Cork at 1-5 p.m. on April 9 and 16. The first session is walk-in and by donation. The second session will have appointments with a professional photographer for $50. For more information, visit ballydidean.farm.
