A growing art show is hosting its second annual event this weekend.

Come by the Willows Orchard Art Show, which runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 8-9 at 1306 Willow Pond Lane in Coupeville, and support the island’s working artists.

“Art can be an emotional experience and there is something to be said for finding a piece one is drawn to and meeting the artist who created it, understand how/why it was created which results in a lasting memory,” organizer Elizabeth Walsh said. “These artists are wonderful, interesting people with varied backgrounds and bring such passion to their work.”

The 15 participating artists include Timothy Haslet, Liesel Lund Fine Art, Katrina Hude, Katy Holley, Kim Stokley, Dale Reiger, Mary Ellen O’Connor, Deborah Montgomerie, Ethan Currier, Gary Leake, Michele Kempees, Kim Tinuviel, Mike Diamanti, Diane Tompkinson and Siri Bardarson. They will showcase their work across a variety of art mediums, including painting, woodwork, sculpture, metal, glass and jewelry.

Hear live music by Kadeyadeya of the Rubatano Marimba Center from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday. Visit a taco truck on site on Sunday.
