Kiley Grant and Ryan Westgard, both 2004 graduates of South Whidbey High School, became engaged on Christmas Eve.

Grant is the daughter of Pam Grant of Coupeville and Kurt and Tere Grant of Qatar. Westgard is the son of Pam Westgard of Smokey Point and Kelly and Katie Westgard of Ellensburg.

The couple have been lifelong friends. Grant is an office manager for a construction company while Westgard works at a construction company on the north slope of Alaska. They currently reside in Anchorage, Alaska.

The wedding is planned for 2018.
