Djangofest tickets go on sale

Tickets are now on sale for DjangoFest Northwest 2011, the four-day gypsy jazz festival at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts.

Tickets are now on sale for DjangoFest Northwest 2011, the four-day gypsy jazz festival at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts.

The festival is Sept. 21-25 and will celebrate its 11th season of bringing gypsy jazz performers to Langley to join happy fans from around the globe.

The lineup this year includes Mark O’Connor’s Hot Swing, Stochelo Rosenberg, Martin Taylor, Pearl Django, Howard Alden, Anat Cohen, Biel Ballester Trio, Gonzalo Bergara, Stephane Wrembel, Adrien Moignard, Antoine and Sebastien Boyer, Zazi, Billet-Deux, Hot Club Sandwich, Djangomatics, Hot Club of Hulavill, Ranger and the Re-Arrangers and Daisy Castro.

A premium festival pass which includes the best seating at all concerts is $352; a festival pass for standard seating to all concerts is $280; a premium weekend pass for Friday through Sunday premium seats is $230; a weekend pass for standard seating is $185.

Individual tickets for concerts are also now on sale.
