Langley resident wins ‘Very Merry’ giveaway

Langley resident Ye Chan was the recipient of the “Very Merry $1,000 Giveaway” sponsored by Whidbey Island Bank on Saturday, Dec. 17 at Boy and Dog Park.

Participating Langley Chamber of Commerce businesses offered one ticket for each $20 spent by shoppers in their stores, according to a press release. Chan shopped locally this holiday season, the press release said.

The chamber of commerce also gave away “All Wrapped Up themed” baskets to five shoppers: Kiri Gabelein, Marcy Gaston, Susan May, Patricia Rohan and Mari Greshowak.
