Langley Christian and Missionary Alliance Church has chosen to simplify and celebrate a fresh start by changing its name to “The Island Church of Whidbey.” Pastor Dwight Ford has led the congregation to evaluate and refocus on the mission to “love Christ and others well.”

“As we step out to accomplish this it seemed right to simplify and clarify our vision to be servants to Whidbey Island. As we take ownership of our new name, we are committed to becoming more involved in our community and more available to our island,” said Ford in a press release.
