Pacific Northwest Naval Air Museum’s monthly Luncheon is 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 22 at the Elks Lodge, 155 N.E. Ernst St., Oak Harbor.
John Hughes will deliver a historical perspective of the history, acquisition and use of the US Naval Air Station Port Lyautey that existed 90 miles north of the city of Casablanca with emphasis on the World War II era years 1942-45.Hughes is collections management volunteer with the Pacific Northwest Naval Air Museum.
