Under the direction of Legh W. Burns, conductor of the Saratoga Chamber Orchestra, four young musicians have won the honor to perform with the orchestra as soloists at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 21 at South Whidbey High School Auditorium.
They are violinist Tera Applegate, violinist Gloria Ferry-Brennan, flutist Wyatt Homola and French horn player Seth Sobottka.
The annual Young Artists Concert showcases the talented youth of Whidbey Island who are good enough to play with the masters.
Selected by audition, these young musicians will share their gift of music and display the excellence they have achieved through many dedicated hours of practice to attain a high level of professionalism.
General admission tickets are $15 and include one complimentary student ticket
(18 and younger). Additional student tickets are available for $5.
