Kids at the South Whidbey Children’s Center talked about the meaning of Thanksgiving.

Kids in the Sunflower Room of the South Whidbey Children’s Center fielded questions from a Record reporter this week about the meaning of Thanksgiving, what they’re thankful for and what they like to eat during the holiday.

Why do we celebrate Thanksgiving?

“‘Cause we have turkey!”

“No, I eat my pet turkey. And I cook it and eat it.”

“Turkey.”

“Yummy!!! I like soup. Yum, I like tomato soup.”

“My mom cooking a turkey.”
