Wag ‘n’ Walk returns to the Greenbank Farm from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14.

The free event includes an adventure for two- and four-legged friends on the beautiful walking trails at the farm, and also features games, demonstrations and activities for dogs and their friends, plus the popular king and queen contest and coronation.

Wag ‘n’ Walk is Whidbey Animals’ Improvement Foundation’s celebration of the rescue efforts of WAIF supporters, and a chance to educate the community about the adoption of homeless animals.

Events include a Washington State Patrol search dog demonstration, dog tricks by the Amazing Wellington, treibball and ball herding, and other dog contests and games, as well as booths featuring many local vendors.

Organizers said the event will be paying particular attention to spay and neuter options, as well as calling attention to the growing homeless cat population. The event is co-presented by FETCH.
