Blotter | A shoplifter, a burglary and getting ditched at the ferry

The following items were selected from reports made to the Island County Sheriff’s Office: Monday, Aug. 12 At 7:43 p.m. a caller on Scatchet Head Road reported his girlfriend’s son just physically attacked him. Tuesday, Aug. 13 At 6:11 p.m. a caller reported a woman walked out of the Goose grocery store with food items she did not pay for and is now eating them on the sidewalk.

Monday, Aug. 12

At 7:43 p.m. a caller on Scatchet Head Road reported his girlfriend’s son just physically attacked him.

Tuesday, Aug. 13

At 6:11 p.m. a caller reported a woman walked out of the Goose grocery store with food items she did not pay for and is now eating them on the sidewalk.

Friday, Aug. 16

At 4:20 p.m. a caller in Clinton reported a male subject called her and threatened to go to her home and rape her in the middle of the night.

Saturday, Aug. 17

At 2:34 a.m. a caller reported a man had hit two women at a Clinton restaurant and one was bleeding badly. A second call reported the man threatened to kill the caller and the two women.

At 1:04 p.m. a caller on Goss Ridge Road reported an ongoing trespassing problem. “No trespassing” signs and ladders are gone.

Sunday, Aug. 18

At 2:21 p.m. a caller on Brainers Road reported being “robbed again.” The garage door was kicked in and house broken into.

At 7:26 p.m. a caller at the Clinton Ferry Terminal said her friend left her there 45 minutes ago and stole several items while she was in the bathroom.
