After 20 years of business in Seattle and Palm Springs, Ron Wedeking was ready for a change of pace.
In December he moved his business, Pull-Outs Plus, to Whidbey Island.
Wedeking and his family settled at Lagoon Point and he is now supplying the island with his unique storage solutions. Pull-Outs Plus specializes in custom pull-outs for kitchens and pantries.
“It’s a very cost-effective way to update a kitchen,” Wedeking said. “It allows people to get a new kitchen without having to put in a brand-new kitchen.”
Wedeking added that the custom pull-outs can be retrofitted in any existing kitchen.
The pull-outs are custom manufactured on Whidbey Island. That’s important to Wedeking as he knows the value of supporting the local economy.
The pull-outs offer solutions to people who are tired of disorganized kitchens and pantries, and those who can’t kneel down to the lower cupboards, he said.
The convenience of custom built pull-outs installed into existing cabinets is one of the latest trends in kitchen design. People can see and reach all stored items with ease and comfort, even in the back.
Pull-Outs Plus measures each cabinet to custom build pull-outs to fit the existing shelves and open storage spaces. They can be installed into virtually any style cabinet and offer many conveniences and amenities.
Each pull-out holds up to 100 pounds and they run on rollers smoothly and quietly.
The pull-outs make a big difference in any kitchen and they start at an affordable price.
“People can get started at $69 per drawer,” Wedeking said.
Pull-Outs Plus takes pride in its customer service.
Wedeking and his team will come out for free consulting and cost estimates.
“Nowadays, everybody seems to charge for estimates. I guess we’re kind of old-fashioned that way,” he said.
