The Central Whidbey Republican Women has announced the results of their election of officers for next year.

Debbie Cunningham will serve as president; Charlona Sawyer, 1st vice president; Carolyn Pivarnik, 2nd vice president; Denise Lorenz, treasurer; and Jean Wilcox, secretary.

The grassroots organization of members works together as a collective force to advance the influence of women through political access and participation.

CWRW will continue to partner with the South Whidbey Republican Women, North Whidbey Republican Women, Island County Republican Party and the state and national federations of Republican Women to elect Republicans at the county, state and national levels.

The Central Whidbey Republican Women meet from 6 to 8 p.m. on the second Thursday of every month at the Coupeville Library.
