The Greening Congregations of South Whidbey will begin a series of interfaith discussions of the “Laudato Si’” encyclical next week.

A reflection on Pope Francis’ messages to Congress and the United Nations, 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28 at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, Freeland

“What is happening to our common home?” 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5 at Langley United Methodist Church in Langley

“The Gospel of Creation,”  3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, at Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Freeland

“The Human Roots of the Ecological Crisis,” 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19 at St. Hubert Catholic Church in Langley

“Integral Ecology,” 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26 at Quakers at the Unitarian UCWI

“Lines of Approach and Action,” 3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2 at Unity on Whidbey in Bayview

“Ecological Education and Spirituality,” 3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9 at St. Hubert Catholic Church Langley.
