The ferry M/V Cathlamet was taken out of service from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. Thursday morning, causing long waits for commuters in both Clinton and Mukilteo.

“She had a propulsion problem, but it was repaired and normal service resumed in just over an hour,” said Susan Harris Huether, spokeswoman for Washington State Ferries.
