Riding the ferry will soon be a bit more convenient.
Washington State Ferries will begin its summer sailing schedule June 16 with increased service on the Clinton-to-Mukilteo route, and others. Added crossings from Clinton include a late night sailing Thursday through Sunday, a later final sailing on weekends and more early morning sailings on Saturdays.
The summer schedule runs through Sept. 21.
WSF recommends planning summer ferry travel outside of peak hours Friday afternoons and evenings westbound and Sunday afternoons eastbound.
