Clinton teen recognized as 5,000th Island County student to attend DUI, underage drinking panel

Kacie Hanson, South Whidbey High School sophomore, was recognized as the 5,000th driver’s education student to attend a talk by the Impaired Driving Impact Panel of Island County.

Kacie Hanson, South Whidbey High School sophomore, was recognized as the 5,000th driver’s education student to attend a talk by the Impaired Driving Impact Panel of Island County.

The Clinton resident attended IDIPIC’s panel with her mother in Oak Harbor on Nov. 8.

Hanson said the panel was “an eye-opener” that hit her really hard.

The community service impact panels are open to the public.
