U.S. Rep. Rick Larsen will host his first-ever telephone town hall tonight.

Larsen, a 2nd District Democrat, will take calls from residents across the district tonight starting at 6:30 p.m.

While local lawmakers have hosted similar events this year, the conference call with constituents tonight will be Larsen’s first. Larsen will host the call-in event from his office in Washington, D.C.

“I regularly host in-person town halls across the 2nd District,” Larsen said. ” Those events are well-attended, but it can be difficult for some people to find time away from their families and day-to-day responsibilities to attend an event outside the home. This telephone town hall gives constituents another opportunity to share their thoughts and ask me questions.”
