One lane of Highway 525 will be closed to traffic on Wednesday so work crews can restripe the highway in preparation for construction of a new turn lane.

The closure will run from 6 to 10 a.m. just north of Bayview. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.

The restriping is needed so workers can build a new southbound left turn lane on Highway 525 at Thompson Road. Drivers can expect to see shoulder closures during the day and several lane closures at night over the next three weeks while crews rebuild the shoulders and then restripe the road.
