“Sheriff’s deputies broke up a drinking party and put 11 young people under arrest last Saturday night in the Scatchet Head area.According to the report by Deputy Craig Caulk, he and Sgt. Rick Norrie received a complaint at 9:19 p.m. about trespassing at the end of Whales Trail Lane.The officers walked into an undeveloped area past several cars and saw juveniles sitting around a campfire a short distance from a cliff. The area was strewn with beer cans and a few of the juveniles were holding cans of beer. Two others were found cuddling inside a van that was also scattered with beer cans.All present were placed into wrist restraints to control the scene and move them away from the cliff for their own safety, according to the report. The juveniles were administered their Miranda and Juvenile warnings.The six girls and five boys present all admitted to drinking and exhibited signs of having imbibed.
