A section of northern Driftwood Way, in the Ledgewood neighborhood, that dropped eight feet in a late-December landslide has been rebuilt, said Bill Oakes, the county’s public works director on Wednesday. After five days passed with no further earth movement, work began Dec. 28 on the 35-foot-section of single-lane dirt road, Oakes said. The work was completed Dec. 30. The road is open for local access only.
