Beginning last month, law enforcement agencies across the state ramped up DUI patrols, including in Island County.

These patrols will take place through the holiday season until Jan. 2015, according to a recent news release. The additional patrols are part of Target Zero — striving to end traffic deaths and serious injuries in Washington by 2030.
