football team beat Newport High School 40-0.
After first half touchdowns from Nick Tenuta, Henry Mead and Jon
Poolman, the score was 34-0 at the half.
In the third period, Falcon coach Mark Hodson sent in the second string — they both prevented any scoring and made one TD on a Danny Zuver end-around run.
At 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, the Falcons welcome the Mount Vernon
Bulldogs to Waterman Field for their first home game.
