Learn how Clinton fits into the Island County Comprehensive Plan during a presentation and meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8.
Hosted by the Clinton Community Council, information about Clinton’s role in the next 20 years will be split into two meetings. The second is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5. Both meetings will be held at the Clinton Community Hall.
The county is projecting a 2 percent population increase over the next two decades for Clinton, meaning little development is expected any time soon. What is expected, however, is a defining of how Clinton should develop and change. Find out what exists now and why, and tell the county what you’d like to see at the meetings.
