Following on successful trials last year, Good Cheer is seeking volunteers for a three-day Christmas Pricing Blitz next week.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning Tuesday, June 24, and running through Thursday, June 26, at the Baby Island Community Club, 3616 Saratoga Road.

Good Cheer is hoping to price an entire cargo container full of boxed donations over the multi-day pricing blitz. The idea was hatched after a Whidbey Coffee volunteers helped price 90 boxes of donated goods during a Halloween party. That compared to 500 boxes priced by three volunteers over the course of an entire summer.

“Not only was it vastly more productive to have more help, it was a lot more fun,” a recent Good Cheer announcement said.

Coffee and tea will be available, but people should bring their own lunch. Goodies for all are welcome.
