The Whidbey Camano Land Trust invites the public to a guided walk through Trillium Community Forest next week. A volunteer from the land trust will guide people through the property and answer questions, at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 26.

Directions and a trail map are available at www.wclt.org. Access to the property north of Freeland is from Highway 525 at the entrance of Pacific Dogwood Lane, less than a mile north of Mutiny Bay Road.

The walking tour is the third of 12 being offered by the land trust this year to encourage awareness and public use of some of its protected properties. For dates and locations of future walks and other activities, visit www.wclt.org/events.
