HOPE Therapeutic Riding Center is taking registrations for the spring quarter for therapeutic riding lessons.
The registration deadline is March 11.
The HOPE program offers specially trained and certified instructors who know how to address the needs of people of all ages who are facing a broad range of special challenges: autism, cerebral palsy, ADHD, learning disabilities, hand/eye coordination, trauma from an injury or a difficult life experience such as loss of a loved one, and many other challenges.
Sessions will be held in Langley at the Island County Fairgrounds once a week on Thursdays for eight weeks, and in Coupeville once a week on Tuesdays for eight weeks.
Langley sessions begin April 14; Coupeville sessions begin April 12.
Fees for spring quarter are $240. There is an additional $30 charge for new students to cover the new-student assessment which will take place at the fairgrounds on March 15. A limited number of scholarships are available to pay for part of the fees for those students who meet financial criteria.
