Island County, in partnership with the Center for Opioid Safety Education and Island Drug, is holding an informational meeting on opioid trends in Washington state and Island County from 7-8:30 p.m. on Jan. 18 at Whidbey Children’s Theater.

Signs and symptoms of opioid addiction, what to do if someone is suspecting of having an opioid overdose, how to obtain naloxone from Island Drug and resources for recovery will also be discussed.
