Knight Riders bake, decorate and give back during the holidays

The Knight Riders horse 4-H club recently baked up some delicious pumpkin pies for the Mobile Turkey Unit.

The Knight Riders horse 4-H club recently baked up some delicious pumpkin pies for the Mobile Turkey Unit.

Some club members stirred, beat and poured the pumpkin mix into the pie crusts while the rest of the club finished putting up the outdoor Country Christmas decorations at the 4-H Building.

The club had previously decorated for Country Christmas on Monday,

Nov. 24. They strung lights, put up trees, added fencing and put snowflakes on the tree along with a few dancing snowmen and a Santa indoors.

The Knight Riders baked a dozen pies for the Mobile Turkey Unit and got the decorations finished for the Country Christmas held at the fairgrounds that weekend.
