Sophie Nilsen has been named to the dean’s list in her first term at University of Portland where she is majoring in the Nursing program.

With a cumulative GPA of 3.83, she has also been accepted into the Alpha Lambda Delta national honor society. She would like to thank local supporters from Trinity Lutheran Church, ARISE, AAUW, Kiwanis, the Masonic Lodge and the Raymond & Eva Mae Gabelein Memorial scholarship fund who have helped her pursue her educational goals.
