City Hall will be rife with papers and documents ahead of its budget planning this fall.

Langley published its budget schedule, which begins Sept. 9 with detailed estimates of revenues and expenditures for the next fiscal year. The budget must be presented in a public hearing by Dec. 2 and adopted by the city council before Dec. 31, then sent to the state Auditor’s Office and to MRSC.

Langley is in the midst of its regularly scheduled visit by auditors, who may be in City Hall for a month.
