The Langley Design Review Board currently has two openings: one for an open seat and another as an alternate for an existing board member.

The board is a five-member volunteer body responsible for reviewing site design, architectural design and landscaping for all public and private development applications except single family residences. All commercial and non-commercial signage is also subject to review.

The board uses adopted design guidelines to assess whether or not proposals meet certain aesthetic criteria deemed to be appropriate to retain the small-town character of Langley.
