Contrary to some rumors, school officials said backpacks are still allowed in the hallowed halls of Langley Middle School.

Students are encouraged to bring backpacks to carry their books, papers and lunches as needed. However, middle school students will be issued a locker in which they may store their school supplies. According to the school’s August newsletter, backpacks should be left in lockers unless there are specific circumstances.
