Langley’s search for someone to redesign its website continues, but with a deadline later this month.

The city is requesting proposals for website design to be submitted by 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20. In June, the city council chose to rewrite the request for proposal after it received two bids, including one that city council members said came with an $80,000 quote. Both of the original bids were rejected.

Langley, in its new request, asked for a budget of $12,000 to $15,000 from site inception to uploading content. From there, the city will manage the site.
