Coldwell Banker Tara Properties’ Community Fund is at work again and this time one of the $500 recipients is Good Cheer’s capital fund. Every year, Coldwell Banker Tara Properties’ Brokers contribute a portion of their commissions through their Community Fund to support people in need, community agencies and schools on Whidbey Island.

Whidbey Island Bank, too, has offered support and will match donations to finish Good Cheer’s remodeling project. The bank is sponsoring a six-week community challenge, matching up to $10,000 of earmarked donations to help Good Cheer Food Bank & Thrift Stores to reach its original $1.4 million capital campaign goal. The money is to be used to complete renovations at the charity’s Langley thrift store.
