Orientations set for new students at South Whidbey schools

Students new to South Whidbey High School who were unable to attend the freshman orientation in June may join the new student orientation next week.

Students new to South Whidbey High School who were unable to attend the freshman orientation in June may join the new student orientation next week.

The gathering is from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27 in the high school auditorium.

There will also be a fall sports parents/athletes/coaches meeting next week at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28 in the high school auditorium. All fall sports participants and their parents/caregivers should plan to attend the meeting, mandatory for participation in Falcon athletics.

Sixth-grade orientation for Langley Middle School is from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29.
