Field Carrier Landing Practice operations for aircraft stationed at NAS Whidbey Island are scheduled to occur at the Outlying Field south of Coupeville from Monday, March 18 through Friday, March 22.

On March 18, 20 and 21, practices are scheduled from late morning until late night each day. On March 19, practice operations are scheduled from late morning until the evening, and on March 22, from late morning into the afternoon.

Flight operations are subject to change due to weather, operational and/or training requirements. Updates or changes may be found on NAS Whidbey Island’s Facebook page.

“The Navy’s OLF at Coupeville is a critical national security asset that provides essential training for Navy pilots based at NAS Whidbey,” states a news release.
