The Whidbey Island Fairgrounds is seeing plenty of progress this winter.

Washington State Dept. of Agriculture grants kickstarted reroofing the Burrier building, which is now complete, as well as the Malone building. Both buildings will sport the fairgrounds’ trademark red metal roofs by spring.

At right, shows necessary changes to the outside of the Coffman building. The project is due for completion mid-February.

Below, appliances and fixtures are being installed in the Coffman building.
