The MRs. South Whidbey fundraiser raised $6,700 to benefit the family of the late Henry Pope.
The benefit took place Saturday, Sept. 28 at China City in Freeland.
A total of 16 contestants vied for the crown to go along with their up-do hairstyles and accessories. The winner — Mason Shoudy — raised $866 for Pope’s family.
Contestants included Kimo Slate, Greg Grady, Marty Winn, Bill Patterson, Tim Gabelein, Rocky Rockwell, John Patton, Cliff Hagglund, Bart Pierce, Andy Davis, Jordan Nelson, Steve Eckert, Jeff Hanson, Mark Hodson, Shoudy and Jim Mock.
