South End officials and representatives officially opened the two new docks at South Whidbey Harbor this Friday, April 25.

Speakers included Port of South Whidbey Commissioner Curt Gordon, Congressman Rick Larsen, State Sen. Barbara Bailey, R-Oak Harbor, State Rep. Norma Smith, R-Clinton, Island County Commissioner Helen Price Johnson, Langley Mayor Fred McCarthy, South Whidbey Fire/EMS Chief Rusty Palmer and South End residents Phil Simon and Greg Hein.
