Dances of Universal Peace at UUCWI
This Sunday’s service for the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Whidbey Island will be presented by the Whidbey Dance Team sharing Dances of Universal Peace.
The dances are an opportunity to promote peace on many levels by immersing participants in simple sacred phrases and movements inspired by the world’s spiritual traditions.
The service is at 10 a.m. and all are welcome.
Children’s classes are not in session July and August, so older children are welcome to attend the service. There will be child care for children 3 and younger.
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation meets at 20103 Highway 525, just north of Freeland.

‘Catch the Vision’ at the next Unity service
Rev. Christine Lee will give the talk “Catch the Vision, Live the Dream” at the Unity of Whidbey service on Sunday.
What does one live for? What is God calling for one to be in life? These are extraordinary times. There is a call to a higher consciousness that is evolving in our world. It is the time for all the “dreamers to wake the nation.”
Lee will speak of being clear about the greater vision for one’s personal life.
Musicians will be Tadd CharetteNunn and special musical guest Gloria Ferry Brennan, a young, award-winning violinist. Chris Nelson will serve as platform assistant.
The service is 10 a.m. Sunday at Unity’s church at 5671 Crawford Road. All are welcome.
Visit Unity of Whidbey’s website at http://www.unityofwhidbeyisland.org for more information.

Christian Science service is on ‘Life’
“Hold thought steadfastly to the enduring, the good, and the true, and you will bring these into your experience proportionably to their occupancy of your thoughts,” (“Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures”).
The Christian Science service on Sunday is on “Life,” and how one can experience more of the abundance and fullness of divine life (and its blessings) in daily activities.
“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live,” (Deuteronomy 30:19).
This inspirational service begins at 10:30 a.m. at 15910 Highway 525, just north of Bayview and across from Useless Bay Road.
