South Whidbey’s five school board directors will gather at their annual retreat Wednesday, discussing the district’s goals and vision.

The board will meet with the superintendent from noon to 4 p.m. Aug. 28, then with school administrators — principals and directors — from 4 to 5:30 p.m. The board’s regular meeting will follow.

The meeting will be held in South Whidbey Academy’s board room, located at 5476 S. Maxwelton Road. The retreat and meeting are open to the public.
