The timeline and dates of South Whidbey School District’s community conversations regarding the consolidation of school facilities have changed.

A forum scheduled for Oct. 19 at the South Whidbey High School new commons has been rescheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 2. The last community hearing will be at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 7 in the commons. The board opted to scratch a meeting scheduled for Jan. 18, board Chairwoman Linda Racicot said. The board will hold a workshop discussion on Jan. 11 to discuss potential changes to facilities, followed by a hearing on Jan. 25, where a decision will be made.
