The South Whidbey School District Board of Directors will convene for a regular business meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20 at the former board room on the primary school campus, 5380 S. Maxwelton Road.

The meeting is held a week earlier than usual because of Thanksgiving break.

A farewell reception will be held for outgoing school board member Jill Engstrom beginning at 6:30 p.m.

On the agenda this month is a policy regarding special transportation for extracurricular activities. This is the second reading of the policy.

The board will also enter the first reading of a policy regarding uncollected non-tax revenue. As of November 2013, the district totaled $43,579.35 in uncollected non-tax revenue from various inactive accounts and active free/reduced food service accounts.

Reports will also be given by Superintendent Jo Moccia and Assistant Superintendent of Business Dan Poolman.
